After the huge Auction ceremony we will have the IPL Format for you and you can get all the details of the Draw here as soon as it is confirmed by BCCI and IPL geverning body. The major difference between the old format and the new one is that if we had the old one we could have had 94 IPL matches in the group stages which is too much to be honest.
So according to the new Draw we will see each team will be playing against other five teams in Home and Away matches. So there will 70 matches where every team will play 14 matches.
After this, the top two enter the semi-final from game A and the winner of this match will enter the final. The 3rd and the 4th placed team will play another play-off which will be called game B. The winner of game B will play the loser of game A in a game C. The winner of game C will then play the winner of game A to decide the champion.
