Greatest event in the football calender is about to begin in 10 days time and most of the teams are playing friendly games before the take off to the South Africa. Today I will be discussing some of the underdogs or you can say the teams which i expect will be doing more than expected in the South Africa. Some of the big name nations are not doing well with the likes of France, Italy and Portugal struggling for form you might see some high profile exits in the group stages, well that is for another day....
Here are the teams I am expecting will be doing better than what is expected of them,
Japan:
Asian super power in terms of the Beautiful game, they are a regular fixture in the Fifa World Cups now over the decade or so and they always start well and reach the knock outs but that is where they struggle and crash out of the Tournament but this time with the kind of experience they have and the coach I expect them to go one step further.
Cote-d'Ivoire:
By far the best team in Africa and with some of the biggest names to have ever come from African nations. Under the Captaincy of influential skipper Didier Drogba they gonna be a team to beat, they have a physical aspect which no other team psses so they gonna be hard to break down in defence and Drogba and Kolou can score goals against any team in the world. Though they are placed in the group of death.
