One of the International Cricket's top 8 teams and the Co-Host of the 2011 World Cup, Bangladesh will be going into this World Cup with a good chance of getting some good results this year, they have been tagged with many expectations specialy since they will be playing at home for their games and might spring out some surprising results as they always tend to give one or two shocks to the big nations always.

In 1999 they defeated Pakistan who went on to play the final, while in 2003 and 2007 World Cup they were poor to say the least, they have been givent test status for quite a while but thye have been unable to impose themselves on the international scene, although have already defeated teams like Pakistan, India, Australia, New Zealand in recent years and will be looking to have a good world Cup 2011 under their belt.
