Pehaps the most underacheivers in the world of Cricket, always had some big name players and explosive talents, They played their first ODI in the 1972–73 season against Pakistan in Christchurch. The national team is organised by New Zealand Cricket. but never made it to the top of Cricket, although it wont be wrong to say that they are the Semi Final specialists as they have featured like 4 times in the Semi Finals but could not make it to the final any time.

Daniel Vettory side will be looking to end the hoo doo of the reaching the Semi Final and losing, this time the will be looking to go all the way to the final and mark their talent.
